I Want Help Series@parenting@love

“My child is eating chocolate all day long if I let him to. His 6. He doesn’t know what’s good for him. I know”.

Unfortunately, this is a very conceited statement you are making here – “I know”. I do not question your ability to know, only you are not knowing here, you just think you know. You’ve based your own knowledge on what’s “good” and “bad” in your experience, almost dismissing the power of new knowledge, living data, that you acquire every time you let yourself really know.

You do not know – your child knows better. He needs chocolate, dark, rich, quality chocolate. He needs the nourishment –  just like oily nuts bring to our cells in the brain, nervous system and relaxation bodies. He will take what he needs and fade away. Go to his play happily, healthy.

You, on the other side, came from a very bad history of compulsive eating disorder, eating foods that was not good for you, becoming obese. You decided to switch, you hated so much. Unfortunately, your hate, and your pain, is still there, burning. The more compulsive you are against eating unhealthy, the more painful you become. You use the same energy for still the wrong reasons.

Heal yourself, take any moment that your child triggers you and turn into your loving moment of yourself. “Allow” yourself fictively eat chocolate – cry if you need to, love if you need to, and understand your pain under the healthy eating issue.
