The system was initially wrong. It used to work where feelings were not an option. Thinking was overrated. Although there was a time when thinking got the humanity further.
We are in a different place now, where meritocracy works for feelings. The truest and highest they are, the more valuable and reciprocated.
Meritocracy for feelings will be felt by all humans, and love, and loving humanity, will be the highest ranking on its scale.
