When meditating for forgiveness, you are surprised that you (feel to) forgive yourself for being good, being handsome, being generous, being beautiful. Taking care of you, hoping for others, praying for them. Loving you. Cheering you. Helping you.
It may feel very surprising indeed.
And yet, if you’ve been told, and let to believe, that you are not good, and others get upset with your joy, your carefreeness, with you being you, loving yourself, feeling happy about you, helping you through, and naturally assisting others in the process, these all have been “labeled” by you – and still are – “bad” things, the things that “you don’t do!”. And if you happen to, there’s a fault, a mistake, sometimes calling you also to be ashamed and resentful of.
Being happy, being you, feeling good, are all things that you need to forgive. And maybe a few more – get as specific as you can be, and enjoy the happiness and relief they bring.
